Brand Origins

The story of Omjoky began with a reflection on the aesthetics of everyday utensils. The founding team, comprised of members from the design, aesthetics, and home furnishing industries, noticed that many tableware products on the market overly focused on visual sophistication, neglecting the user experience and harmony with everyday situations.

Therefore, we decided to create a brand that would return tableware to its essential essence—practical yet beautiful, durable yet delicate and gentle.

The brand name, Omjoky, derives from a fusion of life philosophies, representing "balance and warmth."

Through restrained design and sincere details, we aim to ensure that each product becomes a part of your life, rather than just a cold, decorative object.

Product Types and Series

Omjoky's core product categories span four categories, each centered around design and everyday experiences, striving to soften and enhance the moments of use.

Plate: From 27 cm dinner plates to 18 cm snack plates, Omjoky meticulously fine-tunes the rim curvature, depth, and proportions of each plate, ensuring it not only adapts to the presentation of diverse dishes but also creates a tranquil backdrop on the dining table.

Bowl: Available in a variety of styles, including shallow, deep, and irregularly shaped bowls, these bowls are crafted from ceramic or glass, ranging in size from 11 cm to 16 cm. Designed to emphasize comfort, smooth pouring, and visually inviting white space, they aim to create a sense of ritual for both individual and shared dining.

Drinkware: The collection includes cups, pitchers, milk jugs, and even larger beverage containers, starting at approximately 300 ml. The proportions of the cup body, handle, and thickness were meticulously considered to achieve an experience of "holding a glass of water is also a gentle stillness."

Cutlery: From ladles, forks, knives, and chopsticks, each piece of cutlery is characterized by its light weight, comfortable length, and minimalist decoration. Examples include the Black Rust series and the Thin Edged series, which offer clear divisions of function while maintaining a unified style, blending seamlessly into the overall dining table aesthetic.

Each series not only expands in style but also adheres to Omjoky's design language of "simplicity, balance, and white space" in materials, craftsmanship, tactility, and visual details. Our design language is based on three key words: simplicity, balance, and white space.
